A visit to two of the best local vineyards, very different from each other, where you’ll learn about how they grow the grapes, the extraction, aging and bottling of the different types of wine they produce. You’ll enjoy a wine tasting with food pairing at each of the vineyards. Perfect for wine lovers and those who wish to learn to better appreciate them.

We’ll leave San Miguel to visit our first vineyard, located less than half an hour drive away.

This first vineyard is family owned and run, with a very small production of different types of grapes. We’ll tour the vineyard with its distinctive personality and decoration and then we’ll underground into their wine cellar, where the wine is aged.

After a tour of the cellar, we’ll enjoy the tasting of the wine and the pairing with some delicious food in a medieval style room, also underground.

 

We’ll head to our second vineyard, on the way to Dolores Hidalgo, which has a very different concept overall. They also have a small and exclusive production and we’ll get to see their labs and shops where the wine is processed, as well as olive and lavender oil.

We’ll take a walk around the beautiful gardens and parcels and we’ll do our wine tasting and pairing with an expert oenologist who will explain the different properties of each wine and how to better appreciate them.

An incredible learning experience, both for seasoned wine connoisseurs as well as those looking to get into appreciating a fine wine. Surrounded by beautiful landscapes, the wine tasting will be an unforgettable sensory experience.

Price includes all taxes and fees, transportation from and back to San Miguel de Allende, all entrance fees, unlimited cold purified water and expert guides at each vineyard.

Deposit is $20 USD per person to complete the booking. Balance is to be paid in cash only on the day of the tour in USD or MXN. If you prefer to pay your balance with a credit card that can be processed with a +8% transaction fee.
